Masochism Working Group (2017)
In Spring 2017, I co-facilitated the Masochism Working Group (MWG), which was successfully awarded the David Rayside Graduate Fund for an Engagement Project, generously provided by the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies. The MWG met for 10 sessions where we explored the theories, politics, and poetics of masochism and its place in the social. The group brought together an interdisciplinary range of thinkers, writers, artists, and practitioners in and outside of the academic community. |
